Self-directed Support is based around the Five Key Principles of Respect, Fairness, Freedom, Safety, and Independence.

There are Four Different Funding Options for Self-Directed Support!

Direct Payment: The Supported Person receives a Direct Payment, and They Can Choose how to spend it on Their Care.

Option Two

Individual Service Fund held by their Provider: The Supported Person decides on the Support They Want, and Appropriate Support is Arranged and Paid For on their behalf.
