Victor on the bus is really good and helps me sometimes and I look forward to getting picked up as it means that I am going to have a good day.  At the Group, it is the chat and the banter that I like, and it’s nice to go into the garden and have a chat too!

Everything is really good; I get five visits a day and enjoy the fact that I see different faces and have different things to talk about with each of them

My Mum and I both enjoy regular contact with the Stranraer Skills Station Staff, but we also know that the Management “has our back” and even if they are short-staffed or have other issues, my Mum will not suffer.

Not only are the Staff Professional, Presentable and Well Groomed, but they “Wear a Smile”

I remember that I had to be talked into coming to the Care Hub by my family, I just couldn’t be bothered moving off my armchair!  Now I have been coming for a few months, I love it, deciding to come a couple of times a week has been one of my best decisions.

My Ship Mates (fellow Service Users) are lovely company and the Staff is a great bunch, who work so hard but always ensure we are all having a good laugh at the same time.  If I am feeling down, they always come forward and try to cheer me up; it’s not long before I feel refreshed.

Jody is an absolute Diamond, and we see her as our Diamond.  Yvonne and Leanne are also excellent and are always so cheery!

Stranraer Skills Station services are to a high standard and communication is excellent.

Can I say a huge thank you to Iain and Alex as they are both great with my father?   Dad really likes their support and enjoys their visits.

I like the ethos behind Stranraer Skills Station and how they try so hard to achieve a good outcome with the Service User.  I have no idea how Stranraer Skills Station apply Staff training policies albeit I am sure if I were to enquire about them, I would be brought up to date.  I enjoy working in collaboration with the Leaders at Stranraer Skills Station.
